You: intrepid adventurer wanting to get off the beaten path -- or explore without ever being far from your stuff, a bathroom, your own food, etc!
Snowball: a stealth van purchased brand new and contractor-converted. So, unlike most of the campers/vans you see listed here, which stand out as obvious RV's and sometimes irritate locals, I've never had an issue -- parking free on most every street in the Pacific NW without hassle.
The queen bed is oriented sideways in back, working well for heights up to 5'9" (or single 6'+ diagonally). The mattress and topper are 8" and there's an electric mattress heater for cold nights. A two-burner propane stove, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, and foot-pump operated sink are simple systems ideal for weeklong trips. Along with the marine toilet [note: no shower system] overhead vent and skylight for natural breeze.
The "garage" accessed from the back doors has plenty of room for groceries/supplies, 2 bicycles, extra drinking water, and more. Snowball drives like any Mercedes car, with automatic transmission, cruise control, bluetooth phone/audio, and backup camera.
