Birdie’s Rules of the Road A few cheerful reminders to keep your trip running smooth and sunny: Treat Birdie like your own. He’s built for big adventures but has a soft side—especially when it comes to his buttons and plumbing. * Linens are freshly fluffed. If you use something, please don’t return it to the bins—just toss it in the tip out laundry basket you’ll find in the bedroom. * Plumbing PSA: Use small amounts of toilet paper and large amounts of water when flushing. It keeps Birdie’s pipes happy and hiccup-free. (We’ve stocked you up with RV-safe TP!) * Watch the slides! Before extending or retracting, make sure the area is clear of anything loose—especially things tucked beside the dinette. Birdie’s walls don’t like surprises. * “Camp-clean” is perfect. No need to scrub, but please tidy up like your grandma’s stopping by. * Top off the tanks. That includes gas and propane—just return them at the same levels you started with. * No smoking or vaping inside. Birdie prefers the smell of fresh air and road trip snacks. * Dog-friendly—with a catch! Birdie loves dogs, but he happens to be a little allergic. Non-shedding pups only, please. BATHROOM Birdie’s bathroom is small but mighty—just like his Orange Bird spirit. It’s cleverly split into two sections so everyone can get ready without bumping elbows. On one side, you’ll find a roomy shower, and on the other, a toilet, sink, and mirror tucked behind a door for privacy. You can close off the whole area if you’d like a full bathroom setup. Compact, efficient, and ready for the road—because even campfire crews need a good place to brush their teeth. SLEEPING Comfy, cozy, and ready for rest after a day of adventure. Birdie sleeps up to six, with flexible space for families, tagalongs, and even a sleepy stowaway or two. Here’s the setup: * A private rear bedroom with an upgraded short queen RV bed for grown-up comfort * A convertible dinette that easily transforms into a bed for two * A love seat that’s just right for a couple of kids who don’t mind snuggling * A roomy overhead cab bunk perfect for bigger kids or smaller adults who like a bit of nest-like charm * Linens, pillows, and blankets are included for three beds, so you can pack light and rest easy. Sweet dreams come standard. Rainy Day Ready Because sometimes rain happens—or you just need a hangout day to recharge—Birdie’s got you covered. You’ll find two TVs (one in the main living space and one in the bedroom), plus a stash of cards and classic games to keep everyone entertained. Driving Birdie If you’ve never driven a motorhome before—don’t worry! Birdie is a Class C, which means he drives more like a big van than a bus. He’s built on a truck chassis, has a comfortable cab with seat belts, and comes equipped with large mirrors and a backup camera to make things easier. A few tips to keep the ride smooth: * He runs on regular gasoline, not diesel (easy-peasy fill-ups!) * Check your clearance. Birdie’s a little tall (12 feet), so make sure gas stations, drive-thrus, and campground overhangs give you enough room to cruise under safely * Take wide turns—he’s longer than an SUV but very manageable * Give yourself extra stopping space, especially when fully loaded * Slow and steady on hills and curves—you are, after all, driving a tiny house on wheels Feeling a little unsure about driving? Some public campgrounds or recreation areas don’t allow drop-offs, but we’re happy to escort you into the campground and help you get set up if that’s allowed. For an additional fee, you can send an Amazon Fresh or Whole Foods delivery to Birdie’s current location, and we’ll unpack everything and get your kitchen stocked before you arrive.
